I'm too lazy to get ready for the ball..

..so I started trying on the new stuff I bought yesterday. I stopped by Stitch or Switch on the way to town, and tried on 2 dresses which I ended up buying. And the great thing about this is that I used their coupons to get them, and didn't spend any of my cash!

The first dress is a vintage navy dress. It's very floaty and comfy, and has chiffon bell sleeves. he elasticated waist band would probably come in handy one day if I've stuffed myself with food (like at the moment...Damn you delicious Indian food..). I love the pleating in the bottom of the dress, especially the zigzag pleating at the hem.

Dress (Vintage), belt (Topshop), tights (H&M), shoes (Miss L Fire), earrings (Vintage), hairpins (Pennys/Primark), gloves (Claire's accessories - from Barinder)

The second dress I immediately grabbed off the rail. It's the All Saints shirt dress. It's a size 10 and I forced my ass in it. The only thing it's missing is a button, but they said they'll fix it for me. I love the cut of the dress. The collar is very low, and if I had cleavage it would probably look sexier with the low cut. But the gathering around the hip makes my waist look smaller..hooray!

Dress (Second hand All Saints), lace tights (Jonathan's), Socks and hair pins (Pennys/Primark), shoes (Mario Schwab), scarf (Camden)

I also went a bit nuts with these hairpins. I should set myself a limit when I see things I like. I bought these handful of floral/bow hair pins from Pennys(Primark)..and all for 7 euros..

I stopped in TK Maxx as well, and they had a few pairs of Irregular Choice heels, but none in my size. DAMN THEM AND SUCH.

Ack!! It's 7:30!! I should really start getting ready for the Surgeon Noonan ball..
