Specs Appeal

I love glasses. When I was younger, I used to have massive brightly coloured JamJar-esque glasses for my lazy eye, which has since been remedied. I over compensate and have jumped on the fake glasses band wagon, a la the Camden set, the staff in Urban and Temple bar on a Saturday. Last night, at a Crystal Antlers gig in Cork, Micheal the photographer traveling with the band had similar glasses to mine. We shared a glasses moment. It was a little bit amazing. His are actually prescription though, I'm a fraud.
However, Urban Outfitters, American Apparel and Topman are offering the chance to wear non-prescription glasses.
I was reading some magazine in the hairdressers and came across some pictures from Charles Anastase's S/S 09 collection, where a number of the models were wearing glasses. Fantastich.
I'm going to be using these babies for inspiration....
I'm going to have to make them apart of my everyday wear me thinks.
Also, four hours in a chair, one hell of a hangover and hazy memories of the night before and a whole lota bleach and stingy stingy scalp....Awesome possums. Now me, my new 'do and my hangover are going to go hide in a corner in the dark.
