some call it a uniform... i call it my never-fail-just-fell-out-of-bed staples..

I was having a chat with my lovely friend Deirdre while leaving college and she asked me if I would ever go out with a guy who wore a tracksuit. I had a think and determined I would only if he wore them while purely for comfort (like me in my Pjs) OR if they were super tack-tastic retro kinds in the ironic sense of the world. Not if they were his everyday wear. Or his uniform. Which reminded me of an awesome post by Ana over at Ripped Knees about what her uniform is. I really enjoyed her post about it. And is so true. Sometimes, no matter what amazing things you find and can do some much with, you will always have a uniform. Those staples that never fail you. The morning after a heavy night of partying. The day of an exam and you can just about put something on. When it's raining!
Some peoples' uniform is their tracksuit. My old school uniform was stylin' (to say the least..) I tried to fashion it up with badges and by wearing cons, like the geeky rebel that I was. LiLo even has a uniform (leggings and an oversized tshirt) and if a uniform is good enough for her, it's good enough for me. My uniform is definitely is a skinni jeans, man cardigan and some form of fancy tshirt kinda gal.

I know that sometimes I feel rather uninspired when I throw these on (I know, I sound a bit like a cliche, but I am a walking one..). But they make life that little bit easier when you have a killer hangover. Or have to get up at 6am to finish an assignment due at 1pm and you haven't started yet. Speaking of, my dissertation is calling me.
