I have been a bit overwhelmed by the whole thing but have enjoyed nearly every minute. Everywhere you go, there will be wankers, whether it's fashion or in IT. But don't hate, congratulate! I encountered one person who labelled all bloggers as floggers. But some industry people blog for petes sake! And I have not once tried to push my way up to sit next to Janet Jackson or whoever. People have work to do. I'm content huddling behind people and entertaining (hopefully) our readers with what I saw on my trusty digital camera. So it's great if you read Vogue and call blogs unedited shit, but I can't afford to buy Vogue. So I would never have the chance to see the designers I have seen at LFW. Even if Lujain who is working hard in Cork can see some of the awesome things I have seen, I feel my job as a blogger has been done.
Ok rant over.
Anyway, we have a guest blogger for Fashion Week. Introducing Jessica. She likes history, a glass of white wine and TK Maxx.
I met some great new bloggers and old-new friends.I caught up with Ozzy, Nneoma, Carrie, Carina, Sarah and Reena over the weekend as well.
Tor from FabFrocks and Milly from Mlle-Milly are darlings. Lots of people.
Life highlight (possibly) was seeing Fred Butler outside the Creme de la Crepe van. I gushed in awe and asked if she would let me have an eagerbeaverfanphoto. She is lovely.
Peace, Fi xx
ps feel free to tell me if I am not "edited" enough for you.

I love Fred Butler too! I wasn't at this fashion week, boo, but at the last one I looked forward to spotting her every day. She's so lovely.
OMG thanks for posting the rant. I approve! Don't hate congratulate... Seriously. Love that you're out there covering LFW the way bloggers should, Fi.
Loving ur coverage Fiona:)!! Thats brilliant that you got to some of the shows!! And got a sneaky pic with fred:! xxx
Fi, you're awesome. I should tell you this more often. Totally agree and I love how we were talking about this earlier. Still full from pancakes!
The scarves look so comfy.
you're so right, I think bloggers that's been to lfw should collectively write something about this and see if the 'industry' still think we're a bunch of free loaders that don't do any good.
I personally LOVED being squished among people and taking photos of creativity and individualism, if the 'elites' want a party of their own they should hold another venue LFWFA (LFW for asses)
Sorry, I'm not this vile all the time, just got stink-eyed today by these two very well-dressed, obviously 'IN'-the-industry men when I said I wanted photos for my blog.
You've got a great blog, the ranting is be beeest.
FAAAANKS FI! youre lovely tooo
OOOOoh im a big fred butler fan too, do you follow her blog? she blogs like a maniac! i gatehred up the strength to introduce myself to her at Louise Gray too :)

ahh I've been reading your LFW posts and it sounds like you had a great time! I'm so jealous of all the bloggers that got to go, I never seem to be invited to any fashion/blogger events - it seems I do something wrong haha xx
This is great, jealous you got to fashion week!
I've been following the whole debate too and I suppose I just find it a bit confusing - cos everyone I've met has been lovely, and sweet, and far more interested in the clothes than celebrities.
I mean, living in London, we see celebs quite a bit anyhow. I may get VERY overexcited about the fact that you met Fred Butler, but that's just because I have a huge old ladycrush on her.
I suppose all us 'good' bloggers (and yes, I'm going to be arrogant and lump us both in that category) is take pics, give our opinion and leave it at that - blogging for me is all about passion, and I'm pretty passionate about a gorgeous collection!
By the way, going to add you to my links bar xx
