The cartoons and drawings and action figures/toys of big designers have been increasing in the fashion market. There has been recent posting about the Shrek editorial for VMAN, click here. And remember when Marc Jacobs came out with a steel Spongebob bag at the end of his collection for Louis Vuitton? Or when Jean Charles de Castelbajac had Mickey Mouse all over his collection? or the numerous times D&G had Disney and action figure heroes cartooned all over their tshirts?
I personally love them all, as I pretty much grew up watching all different cartoons and drawing/painting as a hobby. Emm..actually, I still do those things. I do admit to having plenty of Disney dvds. And I think injecting some sort of childhoodness and fun sillyness into fashion does add a bit of charm.
..I also do admit of watching Spongebob Squarepants. I love that yellow sponge.
But anyway, here's a look at the spread..
I'm just wondering what's next? Warner Brothers for Vogue? Pokemon for Pop? Pixar for V? who knows.
On another cartoon note.. how hot is Marc Jacobs with his Spongebob tattoo?

I've seen these--they're really something! I do like MJ's Spongebob tattoo. He has weird tattoos, but it's cool :)
