I love Things We Love

FYI is there is some nudity in this post (it is a paper doll though).

Great thing about London is when you try to find one thing, you tend to stumble across something else. Whilst en route to see the amazingly hilarious Modern Toss exhibition "Modern Toss Museum of Urban Shit-Naks" (a must-see) I had a peek at a gallery exhibition a few doors up. What attracted me mainly was the the paper dress-up dolls wearing paper versions of dresses I would like to own in the window.

The exhibition was hosted by the website Things We Love, which showcases artists of all kinds, from illustration to fashion. I seriously lusted after the paper dolls, who were all familiar faces, (check out Agy, Cheryl, Kate and Lily, and some other models I should probably know the name of) wearing iconic outfits (again I should probably know the name of who made them).

Made by Mel Elliot, I am wishlisting these.

Other items of lustworthy note, was the "time for tea" jewellery designed by Katy Nicola Molony.

Not only was the art amazing, the people behind it are absolutely lovely. They were so helpful and friendly, something you might not always find at an art exhibition around Shoreditch.
As the title says, I love Things we love.

I LOVE the paper dolls. I'd be wanting an Aggy please.

The teatime jewellery reminds me of my teacup necklace from Tatty Bon, think it's made from old dollhouse stuff.

Ooooh this looks fab, I used to be really obsessed with paper dolls and did my A level art project on them!
